![]() I must say I've yet to set up a service appointment for the services. This was made most frustrating because the Starlink GPS proved to be useless to us during that trip. Then when we went on a 2800 mile trip this month, I could not connect to Android Auto, even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone to insure I had the latest update. "It worked flawlessly when I got the car. (2018 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium 2.5-L 4 Cyl) ![]() "Some of the screen letters do not function." (2018 Subaru Outback 2.5i Touring 2.5-L 4 Cyl) Not a huge problem but certainly a frustration point when you need to access Google maps while driving." Most days you plug in the phone and it works perfectly almost instantly and then a couple days a month it has an issue. It doesn't seem to have any common theme for why its not working. I have tried troubleshooting this issue many times and is many different ways (plug in/out, turn car off, get out of car and reenter and turn back on, restart phone, try other phones, etc.). If the car is turned off while to phone is connected and then turned back on, the phone will not reconnect until it is manually unlocked even when the setting to unlock the phone by the car is enabled." Sometimes Android Auto will engage with a totally blank screen and the phone must be disconnected from the USB interface and reconnected. This problem lasts for 5-10 minutes after the car is started and running. The display will show that the voice command mode is enabled, but it won’t detect any voice commands. "Android Auto voice commands are sometimes unresponsive after connecting the phone to the USB interface. (2018 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited 2.5-L 4 Cyl) Able to reset it by leaving the mapping function and coming back to it." "Android Auto and Google maps has some problems with the screen blanking out.
